Bespoke Printing
Nile & York offer a short run bespoke printing service for customers who have a design or designs they would like to produce on a silk, cotton or any suitable fabric that can be printed, including curtain lining.
You will need to address the following questions before you are able to make a request for a special print run. This service is only open to trade customers who have the contacts to sell on any balances of fabric left from the original print run.
Questions to ask yourself.
- How much do I want to sell?
- Is it only for one order?
- Can I sell any that is left?
- How much do I want to pay for fabric and printing?
- On what quality of fabric do I want to print?
- Do I want to buy the base cloth myself?
- How does this affect the print price?
- What do I do about taking any fabric damaged during printing into account?
- How do I want the fabric finished?
- How do I want it sent, in what size of roll?
- What will it cost to set up the screens, artwork and separations?
- Do I have the design ready to go or does it need putting in repeat?
Do I really want to get involved in all this? Or shall I ask Nile & York to consider all of the options based on my own original design idea? For instance, what scale or repeat should I use for my design? Nile & York have all of the answers because they know all of the questions.
